  • Technology, photos and videos
    • Universal travel adapter (if you come from outside the U.S.)
    • American SIM card
    • Power Bank
    • Camera
    • Selfie Stick
    • Tripod
    • Stabiliser
    • GoPro and action cam
    • Binoculars
  • Dress and Wearing
    • Gym shoes (comfy!)
    • Hiking shoes
    • Backpack
    • K-way
    • Microfibre towel
    • Yoga pants
    • Jeans
    • Lots of underwear
    • Shorts or skirts for the hottest days
  • Hand and Safety
    • Toiletry Bag
    • Mini toiletries (those can be really useful when you are in the middle of nowhere)
    • Hand disinfectant
    • Sun protection
    • Hat
    • Suitcase lock
    • Light rain jacket (you are traveling through 8 states and the weather won't always stay the same)
    • Sunglasses
    • Laundry Bag (especially if you stay many weeks you will need to laundry tour your clothes. Hotels and apartments will have it, but in the meantime you can store them in a designated laundry bag)
    • Mosquito repellent
  • Inflatable neck pillow (this is for the flight)
  • Medicines you need (in the U.S. you can easily find paracetamol and similar)
