Route 66 Trip: Day by Day
Day 1 - Chicago IL to Joliet IL

On the first day I've decided to keep it calm and drive only about 45 miles.
Day 2 - Joliet IL to Bloomington IL

Second day a bit longer because on the Joliet - Bloomington leg there are so many things to see that you can really lose hours. About 100 miles in total, Google tell you that it should take about 90 minutes for the whole journey, it took 6 hours for me because I stopped in many places and I've been able to speak to two people that told me some nice stories I'm gonna share with you.
Day 3 - Bloomington IL

On the third day I've decided to stay in Bloomington IL to visit the city and to go back to Pontiac to see the museum and some other nice staff in the town. Unfortunately, on the 2nd day I've arrived in Joliet after 5pm, when the Route 66 museum was already closed.
Day 4 - Bloomington IL to Springfield IL

From Bloomington IL to Springfield IL there are only 70 miles, so another nice and relaxing leg to drive.
Day 5 - Springfield IL

Day 6 - Springfield IL to Fairmont City / St. Louis
Day 7 - Fairmont City / St. Louis to Pacific / St. Louis
Day 8 - Pacific / St. Louis to Rolla MI
Day 9 - Rolla MI to Joplin MI passing through Springfield MI
Day 10 - Springfield MI to Tulsa passing through Galena and Riverton in Kansas
Day 11 - Tulsa to Oklahoma City OK
Day 12 - Oklahoma City OK to Erik OK
Day 13 - Erik OK to Amarillo TX
Day 14 - Amarillo TX to Glenrio NM
Day 15 - Glenrio, NM to Santa Rosa, NM
Day 16 - Santa Rosa, NM to Albuquerque NM
Day 17 - Albuquerque, NM to Gallup NM
Day 18 - Gallup NM to Holbrook AZ
Day 19 - Holbrook AZ to Flagstaff AZ
Day 20 - Flagstaff AZ to Kingman AZ
Day 21 - Kingman AZ to Amboy CA
