Right across from the legendary Cadillac Ranch, and just a few steps away from the towering figure of the 2nd Amendment Cowboy, you’ll find a quiet little corner of Route 66 that’s easy to miss — but worth the pause.
The Cadillac RV Park Gift Shop isn’t a major attraction in itself, but it’s got the kind of charm that makes this road so special.
- a mix of quirky souvenirs
- old-school Route 66 spirit
- local color
It’s where road-weary travelers grab a drink, browse trinkets, and maybe exchange a few words with someone who’s been riding the same dream westward.
Unfortunately, when we passed through Amarillo, the gift shop was closed, so we didn’t get to peek inside or snap any photos. But from what we’ve seen online, it’s filled with fun Route 66 souvenirs, T-shirts, magnets, and all those little things you didn’t know you wanted until you saw them.
It may not be a destination — but it feels like a natural stop between two icons.
A place to reset, smile, and take a breath before heading back to the open road.
